Meet The Team – Tim Kelbie

Tim is our brilliant Chef de Partie. He started his career in the kitchen initially training alongside Babcock for 2 years then began work at Loch Lomond Golf Club, starting as Kitchen Porter and moving on to to apprentice chef before finally becoming Chef de Partie.

What is your favourite colour?

Blue.

Favourite food from our menus?

The Scotch Beef Bourguignon.

What are your hobbies?

Playing the guitar and football.

How long have you been working at Mackintosh at the Willow?

1 year and 2 months!

Can you tell us what your favourite room at Mackintosh at the Willow is and why?

The kitchen is my favourite place to be.

What do you like most about working here?

Being able to have an input in to the menu, it’s very rewarding.

What is your favourite season at the building?

Winter!

What is your favourite thing to cook?

Curries and soups.
