Located on level 2, next to the Billiard Room, the Board Room is suited for numerous occasions. From meetings to brand launches this flexible space allows for all. The state of the art technology means that we will provide everything — gone are the days of memory sticks and cables! Simply log on to the Wi-Fi and you’re all set, ready for that big money making presentation.

Learn about the growth of the tea rooms and hear the story of successful and forward thinking local entrepreneur Miss Kate Cranston and her unique collaboration with Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his wife Margaret Macdonald. With interactive, audio and visual displays there’s plenty to get involved with.

Our Retail store has a range of carefully selected gifts including ranges by Glasgow and Scottish based designers. We also stock our Willow Pattern Burleigh China. Hand-crafted exclusively for Mackintosh at the Willow and used in our Tearoom, this traditional range is based on the original Willow Pattern china used in the Tearoom in 1903. Our Limited Edition chairs, made by our expert furniture makers for our restoration are available to purchase. Call in to browse, chat to our friendly team and choose from a range of great souvenirs and gifts.

The Billiard Room

The Billiard Room

Private Hire Available, Monday-Sunday.

This room was traditionally designed as a masculine space, with male-only patrons admitted. In contrast to the Salon de Luxe, the Billiard Room has dark oak paneling and furniture with lighter touches added in the form of the purple detailing painted upon the walls. The Billiard Room is the perfect space for any meeting or event.

Enjoy an exquisite champagne Afternoon Tea and a tailored talk in the historic Salon de Luxe plus entry to the interactive exhibition for only £45.00 per person, non alcoholic afternoon tea experiences in the Salon de Luxe are £39.00pp.
