Visit our beautiful Tea Rooms in this internationally recognised, A listed building.


With a 200 seat restaurant across 3 floors and a variety of beautiful spaces each with their own character and unique design, including the Front and Back Saloons on the ground floor, the Gallery, the Billiard Room and the famous Salon de Luxe.


Enjoy filling breakfasts, tasty elevenses, delicious light lunches, and tempting afternoon teas and high teas.


With a selection of loose teas and freshly ground coffees, freshly made cakes, scones, soups and sandwiches there’s plenty to choose from – all enjoyed in the stunning historic surroundings designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh for Miss Kate Cranston.


Our Tea Rooms are open daily, Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sundays 10am-5pm.

Please note times may vary on occasions, so please double check with the venue if you are unsure.


The famously exquisite Salon de Luxe is available for bookings!

We are currently offering two sittings one at 1200noon and the other at 15:00pm.  We are serving Afternoon Tea only in the Salon de Luxe and there is a £5 per person supplement when choosing to dine in this room.  Please make us aware of any dietary requirements at the time of booking and note that at this time we currently do not admit children under the age of 12 in to the Salon de Luxe.  If you have any questions regarding this space please do not hesitate to contact us on 0141 204 1903.
