Tours

Monday-Sunday | 10am, 11am, 12noon and 1pm

Mackintosh at the Willow is unique in being a working Mackintosh space, retaining its 1903 original function as a tea room, so visitors can both view the impressive interiors and enjoy an immersive experience by dining with us. The tour covers most of the main spaces within the building, highlighting the work undertaken by the restoration team, the important interiors within, and how the building relates to other Mackintosh works. Aside from booking to dine in the Salon de Luxe, a guided tour is the best way to view this room. Maximum group size is 6. Booking is essential. Tours last around 45 minutes. Our tours are currently in English.

Announcement from Mackintosh at the Willow.

~

We’re happy to update you, that in line with government guidance and further clarification, our tearooms is still open to the public. We are closely monitoring the ongoing situation and will continue to act according to government guidelines.

Our tearooms opening hours remain the same, 12noon until 5pm.

We’ll continue to serve up delicious cakes, coffees and teas to anyone who wants to catch up safely with one other household (of up to 6 people) in a beautiful spacious environment. For now, we are not serving alcohol in the tearooms, much like Catherine Cranston in 1903 – who was a firm follower of the temperance movement!

If you don’t feel comfortable visiting, but still want to treat yourself to a delicious afternoon tea, keep an eye on further updates as our takeaway afternoon tea’s and celebration cakes are launching very, very soon.

As always, we have stringent measures in place to help protect you and our staff and you can view on our bookings page.

You can make a booking online on our reservations page, by emailing us or by giving the team a call on 0141 204 1903.

Thanks to everyone for their support over the past few months.  If you have any queries about a booking the best way to contact us is at bookings@mackintoshatthewillow.com.
