Mackintosh at the Willow Tours

Information and Tours

We’ve teamed up with the Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society to offer the first dedicated, city centre Mackintosh information and tours desk. You’ll be able to book guided tours of the Tea Rooms, learn more about all things Mackintosh including the Mackintosh walking trail and other nearby Mackintosh buildings in Glasgow and the wider area.

Tours run Monday to Sunday at 10am and 11am and last approximately 45 minutes. Maximum group size is 6.

Afternoon tours as well as architectural and other special interest tours are also available, please ask for details.

All tours are conducted by Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society volunteers and must be booked in advance to confirm availability.

The tour will cover all main spaces within the tearooms, highlighting the work undertaken by the restoration team, the important interiors within, and how the building relates to other Mackintosh works.

Tours are limited to 6 persons and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Larger groups or those looking for special interest tours must contact us directly to organise a suitable time to visit.

Please note that during July and August some spaces within the Tea Rooms may be unavailable due to continued works. Given the nature of the restored tenement building the current tour has some elements which are inaccessible to wheelchair users. Please outline your accessibility when booking and reasonable adjustments will be made.
