Information and Tours

Mackintosh at the Willow Tours

Mackintosh At The Willow is unique in being a working Mackintosh space, retaining its 1903 original function as a tea room, so visitors can both view the impressive interiors and enjoy an immersive experience by dining with us.

The tour covers most of the main spaces within the building, highlighting the work undertaken by the restoration team, the important interiors within, and how the building relates to other Mackintosh works. Aside from booking to dine in the Salon de Luxe, a guided tour is the best way to view this room. The Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society runs the tours of the building, as well as providing a wealth of information about other Mackintosh treasures in the city and how to find your way around. They also offer the fantastic ‘Mackintosh Discovered Walking Tour’ which is an informative guided walk around the city, led an expert.
