Our interactive exhibition is suitable for adults and children and will be free to all (normal price £5.50/£4.50.) Come along and see Mackintosh’s turn of the century Glasgow and how we restored the tea rooms 115 years later, see if Miss Cranston would hire you as a waiter or waitress, admire the original Art Nouveau Salon de Luxe doors and try brewing your own tea. ALL FOR FREE!
SPECIAL AFTERNOON EVENT 1pm and 3pm: an interactive tea demonstration in the exhibition centre!
THE TEA ROOMS
Come dressed up! For anyone who comes in Victorian or Edwardian costume there’s 10% off your bill. We welcome traditional and steam punk Victorians!
Plus the pastry chefs will be making a one-off seasonal cake to add to the menu.
Come and have your photo taken as Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Miss Cranston, an Edwardian gent or a traditional tea room waitress. Our costumes will fit adults and children! Polaroids available but you’re welcome to use your phones.
Join in the fun and add your photos to our gallery by using the hashtag #217TheWillow.
