The Front and Back Saloons are on the ground floor, and feature an impressive canopy, skylights and linen wall panels – all designed by Mackintosh and Macdonald. The Gallery is located on the mezzanine floor.

Patrons are invited to partake in a delightful array of culinary offerings – from afternoon tea to lunch and a delicious selection of cakes and pastries. Booking your table in advance is highly recommended.

Afternoon tea is served in the mezzanine, so please let us know if you have any accessibility requirements and we can allocate a table in the front saloon.

The Salon de Luxe is no longer in open for dining. Don’t worry though – we’re still accommodating those who have pre-booked so if you still want to enjoy the Salon de Luxe experience we’re still accepting bookings for those dates until the end of December.

From 1 January 2026, the only way to see the Salon de Luxe is to book onto one of our guided morning tours, or take part in one of our self-guided visits throughout the afternoon. You can plan your visit by clicking here
