Hen Party Happiness

This weekend we welcomed the lovely Steph and her hens to Mackintosh at the Willow for some stencilling, afternoon tea and (of course) prosecco!

We kicked off the afternoon with a stencilling and fizz workshop in the AV Theatre with our Creative Learning and Education Manager Jodie teaching the group how to get the perfect Mackintosh stencil. After a few of these marvellous pieces were created, we headed to the Billiard Room with the Events team for afternoon tea, personalised party games and extra bubbles!

Smita, one of the brilliant bridesmaids and the photographer responsible for the following images, sent us these lovely words about their experience with us:

“Thank you SO much for organising such a wonderful day for us on Sunday. It was perfect! The stencil workshop was so fun (and therapeutic after a slightly stressful morning for some of us!!), everyone commented that they really enjoyed it. A few folk are planning to frame their artwork so it’s been successful!

The Billiard Room looked stunning with the banquet table set up. Steph was delighted with the welcome signs and the place cards were so pretty too. Chloe S was brilliant and we all felt well taken care of. We are grateful that your venue is accessible with the lift, baby-friendly and vegan-friendly too! The food was delicious and we were glad to have the boxes to take away the leftovers so nothing would go to waste. Please convey our thanks to everyone involved. It’s been an absolute pleasure to arrange the event with you – you’re both amazing! Hope to be back soon!”
