Meet the Team – Isabella Scott

Isabella is our Events Coordinator at Mackintosh at the Willow. She began her time with us as our Administrative Assistant, but now helps you fabulous lot with your events, the social media, and uses her experience in this beautiful heritage site to keep building on her art historical knowledge from her Masters Degree in Classical Art and Archaeology.

Blue

Creamed Wild Mushrooms on Toast

What are your hobbies? 
Painting, drawing and playing the guitar.

How long have you been working at Mackintosh at the Willow?
16 months.

Can you tell us what your favourite room at Mackintosh at the Willow is and why?
Always the Billiard Room! As it is mostly for private use the space is always very calm and has a totally different aesthetic feel to the rest of the tearooms.

What do you like most about working here?
Being part of the story of the tearooms and being able to implement my background in art and archaeology as well as hospitality.

What is your favourite season at the building?
Summer – Mackintosh designed the spaces to respond to light so the sun definitely highlights features you would not usually see as much.
