Meet The Team – Chloe Smythe

Chloe is part of our amazing front of house team and has been part of Mackintosh at the Willow from the beginning. This photo shows her with a certificate she won at our staff night for joint place in “most likely to be running the business in ten years time”!

What is your favourite colour? Definitely pink at the moment.

Favourite food from our menus? The whiskey sticky toffee pudding.

What are your hobbies? Mostly catching up with some tv shows and movies, some reading and enjoy outdoor activities like paintballing.

How long have you been working at Mackintosh at the Willow? Since we first opened so just over 2 years.

Can you tell us what your favourite room at Mackintosh at the Willow is and why? My favourite room would have to be the billiard room, I think it has a perfect atmosphere and is a great room for hosting events.

What do you like most about working here? I enjoy meeting people that have a great passion for Charles Rennie Mackintosh that are willing to travel around the world to see his famous tearoom back to its original glory.

What is your favourite season at the building? Definitely Summer. I love when it’s nice out that the sun is shining throughout the tearooms and we have the roof terrace open.
